Good News

Had another hyperbaric treatment today and met with the doctor afterwards.
Ask why I didn't hear any results from a recent blood test. He looked it up on line and found some good news for me. One of the tests for sediment/infection revealed a number 17. It has to be a number 10. In May when I first went in the hospital, it was an 83.

Good news, I guess

I just finished by first week of treatment at the Hyperbaric Oxgenation Medical Center. Today's treatment went fast. Didn't seem like 90 minutes.

While I'm getting treatment, I watch TV. Last two days I've been watching the Today Show. That last hour is brutal.

Anyway, I had more blood taken yesterday. Second straight week for that. Asked the nurse if she heard anything on last week's test. She said that if there would have been a problem, I would have heard from the doctor. So, I guess no news is good news.

Speaking of good news, making my first trip to the Bank on Sunday to see the Phillies play for the first time since April. What a pitching match-up -- Hamels vs. Webb.

Can't wait!

Day Three

I just had day three of my chamber treatments at Dr. Lombard's former office on North Sixth Street.

It's a 90-minute treatment that I get five times a week.

I don't see my regular doctor, Dr. Bacharach, until July 22nd. They called yesterday to cancel my appointment for Tuesday. Don't know if that's a good sign or not.

I have to see Dr. Green next Wednesday. He's an infection doctor. I need to have some sign that these treatments and the IV meds I'm taken are working.

Prayers are still welcome.
